For those who might be sweating a second year of "The Madden Curse," this is probably unwelcome news. Sir Breesus beat out Bucs QB Josh Freeman in round 1 with 56% of the vote. He now faces Jets QB Mark Sanchez. In a battle of pure QB skills and experience, Brees should win a matchup with Sanchez quite easily, but that's not what this is. This is essentially fans voting for their favorite players, so I wonder if Jets Nation can put young Mark over the top and into the next round.

You can cast your vote here.

Even though the people at EA Sports are taking a new approach to deciding who graces their Madden video game cover this year, I still think Aaron Rodgers should win easily. He's the MVP of the last Super Bowl and a prized asset to all fantasy football players. Those worried about Drew winning and thus facing "the curse" again, probably have little to be concerned about.
