Holy cow! We got us a very exciting game going in the Superdome tonight, as the Lions have taken a 14-10 lead over the Saints into halftime, as Marques Colston couldn't hold onto a very tough catch in the end zone at the end of the second quarter and the Saints had to settle for a John Kasay red zone field goal.

Detroit won the coin toss and marched right down the field to a 7-0 lead, and have kept the Saints pretty much at bay the whole time, despite two fumbles by the Saints (and Drew Brees threw another couple of "almost picks" in that last series), who had only six fumbles in the 2011 regular season.

Big ups to the Saints defense for forcing Detroit punts following both Detroit takeaways, but it sure would be nice for them to figure out how to do that on drives that start in Detroit territory, too.

A gut-churning second half is sure to follow, so join us in the thread for the conclusion of this thriller!
