Believe it or not, the Saints still aren't mathematically eliminated from that NFC playoff picture. But it's a freakin' long shot.
With their dominating 41-0 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today the Saints have kept themselves alive in the hunt for that final NFC Wild Card playoff spot.
It would require the Bears and Giants to lose their final two games, among other particular scenarios that need to play out. But if the Saints manage to win their final two games and find themselves with an 8-8 record, they would own the tiebreaker over Dallas, Chicago, Minnesota and the Giants.
If I were you, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
