Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
Dontari Poe was a beast at the 2012 NFL Combine. According to WalterFootball.com, "Men who weigh 350 pounds aren't supposed to move around like him." Poe ran a 4.8 in the 40-yard dash and ravished the bench press with 44 repetitions. Poe will make an immediate impact along any defensive line. He will most likely help shore up a plagued Cardinal rush and pass defense.
Last year Arizona's rushing defense was ranked 21st with over 120 yards allowed per game, and passing defense ranking 17th with over 231 yards allowed per game. The insertion of Poe will enable the Cardinals to become a divisional contender. Poe's natural position is at nose tackle, however he provides the Cardinals with flexibility to be converted to any defensive tackle position in either a 3-4 or 4-3Poe can power through double teams at times. He's strong enough in his upper body to grab hold of backs and bring them down with one arm. With players such as Marshawn Lynch and Frank Gore in the division, the Cardinals pick the most logical player to help them win the division.
