2012 'NFL Game Rewind' to Include Full Access to Coaches' Film

This one's for all you Super Fans out there. Andrew, you may want to look into this and write it off as a blogging expense on your 2012 tax return. I may have to buy this and then quit my job to devote myself fully to study of the New Orleans Saints Coaches' Film.

NFL Enterprises, LLC has leaked that purchasers of the "Season Plus" package ($69.99) of the 2012 NFL Game Rewind service will receive access to the official Coaches' Film of every play.

Gregg Rosenthal of nfl.com nearly lost his mind when he broke this story yesterday.

NFL Game Rewind, for those of you who don't know, is an annual subscription one may purchase that provides access to numerous enhanced features for viewing NFL games online, including: regular season games on demand, condensed games, 3-year archives, classic Super Bowl Games, quad view mode, and more.

The Coaches' Film feature, which "shows you special camera angles that let you watch and analyze the game like a pro football coach", is now available for every play of every game. In the past this was just offered for select plays.

For full disclosure, here's the disclaimer from the NFL Game Rewind web site that deals with the issue of live game access (emphasis added):

*Live game broadcasts are not included with the NFL Game Rewind service. NFL Game Rewind provides on-demand online video access to NFL games after they have aired on broadcast television. Sunday afternoon (1PM ET & 4pm ET) and Sunday night NFL games are available following the conclusion of the Sunday Night Football game telecast. Monday NFL games are available 24 hours after the conclusion of the Monday Night Football game telecast. Thursday NFL games are available immediately after the conclusion of the Thursday Night Football game telecast. Saturday NFL games are available immediately after the conclusion of the Saturday night football game telecast. Due to NFL broadcast restrictions, NFL Game Rewind service is unavailable during the telecast of Sunday Night and Monday Night Football games, as well as during the Super Bowl. Some 2009 regular season games are not available. NFL Game Rewind is only available to users within the United States, Bermuda, Antigua, the Bahamas, and any U.S. territories, possessions and commonwealths (including American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).
