Wednesday night saw another installment of the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2012 air on NFL Network, and in this week's edition (players ranked # 50-41), and the Saints, while not placing any players directly on the list, played a rather large supporting role nonetheless.
Coming in at # 43 was San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, and guess what? His highlight package included some footage of him tearing up the Saints defense in the divisional playoff game. It wasn't all that hard to take for me, as I am still in the mindset of "take your medicine" from the heartbreaking end to the 2011 season, that will lead to a newly invigorated defense rising from the ashes of the train wreck that was last year's defense.
I couldn't find the actual highlight package from the show, but I did find this VD reaction/interview video, which does not include any Saints "lowlights" in the v-roll.
And with Matthew Stafford coming in @ 41, the Saints, who played Detroit twice last year, appeared in a few clips of his highlight reel as well.
You may venture across the jump if you wish to see the rest of the list...and if you do, drop into the comment section for discussion and debate!
Query: With 40 slots left until #1, and only two Saints on the list so far (Jonathan Vilma and Darren Sproles), which Saints do you feel may still appear?

48. Devin Hester, WR/KR, Bears
47. Mike Wallace, WR, Steelers
46. Champ Bailey, CB, Broncos
