Saints Lead Patriots 3-0 After First Half

Presswire

Following one half of play the New Orleans Saints lead the New England Patriots by a score of 3-0 at Gillette Stadium.

A pretty boring game really, with not much offense from either team. The defense, though, has looked pretty damn good. So much that I'm starting to get a little tingly in my pants.

Curtis Lofton got things started off on the right foot with some nice hits. That man can cover some turf in a hurry! Akiem Hicks and Junior Galette have looked very impressive, getting good pressure. Definitely your players of the game on defense thus far. Marquis Johnson has also been involved on a few good plays.

On offense the Saints backup quarterbacks have been unimpressive, each throwing an interception. Courtney Roby has been playing like a man on fire, however. He's in the zone.
