Larry Holder of the nola.com media group is reporting that the New Orleans Saints have signed cornerback Elbert Mack, again, among other recent roster moves:

The New Orleans Saints signed cornerback Elbert Mack on Tuesday after waiving cornerback Jerome Murphy on Monday. The team also released wide receiver Adrian Arrington with an injury settlement after placing Arrington on injured reserve last week.

Mack signed with the Saints during the offseason and made it through the last set of training camp cuts. The Saints cut Mack, though, two days later after claiming Murphy off waivers from St. Louis.

Arrington landed on IR after a knee injury hampered him throughout much of training camp. He ended up on IR early last week with the Saints re-signing wide receiver Greg Camarillo.

So, is this the secondary help needed to help that position group turn the corner (ZING!), or am I grasping at straws?

Is there anyone who'll be crying over the release of the oft-injured Arrington?

There's only one place to discuss all this right now...in the comment section after the jump!
