Saints 27, Packers 28: Saints Lose Hart Breaker

Saints kicker Garrett Hartley missed a potential game-winning field goal with just minutes remaining as the Saints lose to the Green Bay Packers, 28-27, and stay winless.

As much as the Packers and the officials tried to give the Saints their first win of the 2012 season, New Orleans refused to seize the opportunity as they still remain winless on the year.

Despite a few incorrect calls from the officials in their favor and a 2+ turnover margin by their otherwise porous defense, the Saints couldn't overcome key dropped passes by receivers, an absolutely horrid run game, and questionable play calling in the red zone.

The good news, if there is any, was that some of the Saints offense finally looked a little like their old selves again, something we haven't seen from them yet this season. Drew Brees passed for 446 yards and 3 TDs while Marques Colston tallied 153 yards receiving.

In the end, however, it just wasn't enough to overcome 421 yards of Green Bay offense and a four TD pass day from Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
