The debate on Gillette's Facebook page this week is asking for your opinion on who you think is the most dominant NFL player both on the field in real life and on the virtual field, in EA Sports Madden 13.
While I certainly have my opinion about the on-field portion of the question, I haven't played Madden in quite a few years. So I can't even begin to offer a legitimate answer, I can only speculate. But I know a lot of you out there love playing Madden and are more familiar than me, so I definitely want to hear from you.
If I had to guess I would say it's got to be a running back, most likely Adrian Peterson. Even going back to the Tecmo Super Bowl days there's always been one RB in a football video game you can just hand the ball off to and run straight into the end zone. Bo Jackson, anyone? When I was a kid playing earlier versions of Madden, I always enjoyed using the otherwise terrible Lions and just running outside plays with Barry Sanders.
So am I right? I know Adrian Peterson is arguably the most dominant player on the field this year. But is he equally dominant in Madden 13?
