So Manti Te'o was essentially showing people a picture of "Man-Hands" and claiming it was his dead girlfriend? Really?

Manti Te'o's dead girlfriend, the most heartbreaking and inspirational story of the college football season, is a hoax.

RT Met w/ 2day. No question about the commitment of New Orleans to hosting a perfect 10th Super Bowl

Eagles fans can't be feeling positive about Chip Kelly's appearance at his introductory press conference.

Jan 16, 2013: A date which will live in infamy. NOLA mayor says be nice to Roger, Saints QB roots for Falcons while grooving to Bieber.

"A Bad Lip Reading of the NFL via" if ur stuck at work this will cheer u up!

Carville say the real star of the Super Bowl will be the city itself.

RT : RT : Stunned recruit Nico Falah tweets Chip Kelly was "at my house 2 days ago" sad reality

RT : Heath Evans: "I am going on the record calling Chip Kelly one of the worst hires in pro football history."

I would love to hear anyone disagree that public enemy #1 Roger Goodell is utterly drunk off power.

Why even dangle carrot of Payton might be reinstated after season, only to re-affirm suspension till SB? He's jerking Saints around for fun

It's now the Nola Legitimate Media's duty to badger Goodell about Payton at his SB presser until he walks away in a huff (cc:)

NFL VP of Events Frank Supovitz says people in NOLA do a good job of making their own celebrations on a daily basis. Happy to hate NFL's

I applaud Landreiu's handling of the Falcons question and just like that, "Goodell is a friend of the city." F***.

Landrieu says the major projects (streetcar, Superdome, airport, convention center) are 99% done, just minor things to finish.

Landrieu said Canal Street where the streetcar work is going on should be done in days.

. It's the new Most Duncan Thing EVER!: Landrieu: act right during SB47: Goodell has always been a friend of NOLA.

Landrieu says not to look at the SB impact as # of people in NOLA, by rather as opp to build things that last a long time.

mayor Mitch Landrieu, imploring folks to act right during SB47: Goodell has always been a friend of the city of New Orleans."

Landrieu: "I want everybody to be in their best behavior."

Landrieu says if Atlanta gets in the Super Bowl he'll struggle. But says he'll ultimately be a gracious host like he hopes others will be.

Mitch is just trolling everybody. Exponentially.

Enough is enough. Goodell won. Saints' 2012 was in shambles. Give us draft pick back, let Payton do job. Unfair Punishment has been served

Goodell now affecting 2013 Saints, not allowing Payton to have contact w/ team regarding replacing Kromer as OL coach. This is absurd.

Sign the petition! ": Payton can't have any contact w/ about replacing assistants, Greg Aiello said today."

Still no action on Sean Payton’s reinstatement | ProFootballTalk
With the Super Bowl festivities descending on New Orleans soon, the pressure on the league office to consider the reinstatement will only increase. Some believe that, at a certain level, the delay traces to a personal conflict between Goodell and Payton. Regardless, the one-year suspension is now potentially impacting future years, given the impact on Payton’s ability to fill the holes on his staff.

Short list of defensive coordinator candidates in Philly possibly sends bad message | ProFootballTalk
Typically, an NFL team hires a head coach who then hires his staff. Sometimes (like in Oakland, when Al Davis owned the team), the team hires members of the staff before hiring the head coach. Rarely does that approach work.
