Saints vs. Falcons Thursday Night Football Player Snap Counts by Position: Saints Played Lots of Nickel

Snap Count Notes:

  • Will Herring seems to have fallen out of favor a bit. Haven't seen him much around lately.
  • Jimmy Graham took one defensive snap that is not reflected in the chart below.
  • Keyunta Dawson only played 7 snaps, but he forced the game-changing fumble with one of those plays.
  • Jenkins, Harper, Vaccaro, Lewis, and White played a huge chunk of the game, which leads me to believe the Saints defense played a ton of nickel.
  • Marques Colston reclaimed his role as the Saints' No. 1 receiver.
  • Josh Hill's playing time has dropped off now that Graham is healthier, naturally.
