Impressive film footage of Kenny Vaccaro going against Tavon Austin was a big reason the Saints selected Vaccaro as their first round pick according to Sean Payton in a recent article by Mike Triplett on ESPN.com,

When Vaccaro became the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft, Payton stressed how impressed the Saints had been by watching Vaccaro match up last year against West Virgina receiver Tavon Austin -- arguably the most dynamic playmaker in all of college football.

Vaccaro, may have looked impressive against Austin on film, but it didn't prevent Austin from putting up big numbers in the Mountaineers' 48-45 victory over the Longhorns, catching 10 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Vaccaro and Austin will get the chance to renew their college rivalry when the Saints and Rams meet at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday afternoon. While Vaccaro will not be lined up directly on Austin, expect them to come in contact frequently.

Austin has certainly demonstrated the play-making ability in his rookie season that makes him worthy of being the Rams first round draft choice. Vaccaro has not disappointed either. With just one interception, Vaccaro definitely won't be tagged as being a ball hawk. However, Vaccaro certainly has a knack for being around the ball and helping to contain the threat from any play makers he is facing.

Will Vaccaro's physical style of play be enough to keep Austin from breaking open on any big plays? Or will Austin's speed be to much for Vaccaro and the rest of the Saints secondary to handle? It does help, however, that Austin is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
