Roger S. Goodell's credibility is completely ruined

NFLPA head rips Roger Goodell on trust in HGH talks
Foxworth said that bridges between the union and the league that were built during labor talks were undone by "events that kind of broke that bridge again" -- most notably the discipline originally imposed on players allegedly involved in the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal. The player penalties were ultimately overturned by former Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, who was appointed by Goodell as the appeals officer, following months of legal wrangling. "When things like that happen," Foxworth said, "it's hard for our players to believe that the league has their best interest in mind."
