I came across a tweet from Albert Breer from about an hour ago that said free agent tight end Kellen Davis, last of the Chicago Bears, visited the New Orleans Saints:

Some tight-end notes ... TE Kellen Davis, already having visited the Steelers and Saints, has drawn interest from the Browns and Bengals ...
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 16, 2013

Wait, what? Get those Saints beat writers out of the Irish Channel St. Paddy's Day Parade DrunkFest and get them working on this, STAT!

I can't find anything about this FA activity anywhere, so I don't know when it occurred, but have any of you seen/heard anything about this?
It makes sense, as they're looking for Jimmy Graham's backup, but maybe this is why it has not made a bigger splash...(rotoworld.com), he's a bust:
Bears released TE Kellen Davis.
As expected. Davis signed a two-year, $6 million deal with the Bears last March but flopped massively. He dropped eight of the 44 targets that came his way en route to a 19/229/2 line. The Bears will have upgraded in a major way by signing Martellus Bennett. Dumping Davis saves $2.5 million against the cap. The Steelers are rumored to have interest. Mar 13 - 9:58 AM

I wonder what the right price is for this guy, and if he's even worth it...we'll see, I guess.
Time for you folks to jump in. See you in the comment section.
