2013 NFL Draft Results: Jonathan Jenkins Approval Poll

The Saints trade back into the third round to select NT John Jenkins. Do you approve or disapprove?

Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE

Just when you think they've finished, Mickey Loomis and Sean Payton say, "Not So Fast!"

The New Orleans Saints traded up into the third round just moments after selecting Terron Armstead to take nose tackle John Jenkins from the University of Georgia. At 6'4", 346 lbs, this enormous prospect may just be what the Saints need to anchor their defensive line at the sorely needed nose tackle position.

Chris Ivory's long expected trade to the New York Jets helped facilitate this pick. The Saints received the Jets 4th round pick (106 overall), packaged it with their 109th overall 4th rounder and traded up with Miami to land Jenkins.

Hopefully the sacrifice of "Tusk" will not be too great, and this pick shores up the NT position for a very long time. I don't know too much about Jenkins but I look forward to seeing his development under Rob Ryan.
