Well, you can officially pencil in Akiem Hicks at defensive end on that home-made depth chart you've scribbling away at the past couple of weeks.
We've all speculated Hicks might make a switch to the outside but that's never really been confirmed. FOX8 reporter Sean Fazende had a brief moment with Hicks at the Ben Grubbs charity softball game last night and finally got Saints fans the juicy details they've been waiting to hear.
Just caught up with Akiem Hicks ... Says right now he is at defensive end in new scheme #saints

Cameron Jordan is the likely starter at one of the end spots, but Hicks could easily earn the other starting job on the opposite end. He'll be competing against the likes of Will Smith, Greg Romeus and Kenyon Coleman.
Meanwhile that now leaves the NT position with Brodrick Bunkley as the most likely starter while hopefully getting plenty of push from Jonathan Jenkins right behind him.
How do you see it playing out?
