The Chicago Bears have signed former Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis to a one-year contract. Adam Schefter was the first to report.

Ellis had been on the stagnant free agent market for quite some time. He will join former Saints offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod, who was also signed by the Bears earlier in the free agency period.
I don't think this move is going to upset any Saints fans. He had a disappointing career in New Orleans considering his 7th overall draft position in 2008, and he wasn't a fit for the Saints new 3-4 defensive scheme.
