At this time each year, I'm usually the one who brings coverage of the "NFL's Top 100" to Canal Street Chronicles, and this year I haven't had anything to write about yet.

As of the latest release (players ranked #30 - #21), no New Orleans Saints players have made the list of the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2013. Are you shocked? Nonplussed? Pissed off? Confused?

I'm not sure what to think. On one hand I care very little about this BS list, with its vague criteria and democratic ballot-y nonsense, but on the other hand, I would like to have seen more Saints on in thus far.

Last year, the Saints placed five players on the 2012 list:

76. Carl Nicks

58. Jonathan Vilma

32. Jahri Evans

14. Jimmy Graham

2. Drew Brees

And this year, there are ZERO Saints from #100-#21. I can understand why no 2012 defenders made it, of course, but shouldn't Jahri have at least appeared by now? Or even a "down year" Jimmy Graham? What about the 2013 Pro Bowlers Thomas Morstead and Jermon Bushrod?

Drew Brees is a lock for the Top 10, I believe, so no worries there, but will anyone else will join him from the 2012 Saints team? There are only 20 spots left...
