Below is everything you need to know about Saints training camp action to date. There have been three practices. Saturday it was all about the defense. They were definitely getting the better of the offense. Sunday the tables were turned and it was the offense's time to shine.

Offensive Tackle
Jason Smith was abused today. The guys on WWL did not have anything positive to say about him. The battle for left tackle is truly between Charles Brown and Terron Armstead, but the job is Brown's to lose.
Wide Receiver
This is quickly becoming the most interesting battle to watch. I am loving what I've seen from Andy Tanner the past two days. Dude catches everything. He's the next Lance Moore, even if Lance Moore is still on the team.
Saalim Hakim has also been pretty impressive.
So has Kenny Stills, but I still think he mysteriously winds up on IR.
Nick Toon isn't doing enough. He's been playing fine, don't get me wrong, but with Andy Tanner being such a show off and the depth of competition, Toon needs to step it up.
Quarterback
Luke McCown is definitely your backup quarterback at this point. Seneca Wallace does not impress me whatsoever.
I have liked Ryan Griffin's decision making. I think he's practice squad material and he's earned himself a chance to stick around and be groomed. Roll Wave!
Linebacker
Will Smith isn't doing so bad with the transition. Plus, he's slimmed down significantly.
Eric Martin is the young candidate most likely to surprise, running a lot with the first team.
Cornerback
Not much to note here. If anything, A.J. Davis is the young talent to watch. He's also been seeing reps as a kick returner.
Safety
Kenny Vaccaro has been as good as advertised thus far. Keep your fingers crossed.
Defensive Line
Akiem Hicks has been versatile, taking snaps at both DT and DE.
