Saints Roster Cuts 2013: Jonathan Vilma Will Make Saints' 53-Man Roster, Getting Healthy

A source tells The Advocate that Jonathan Vilma will be on the Saints' 53-man roster, that he's getting healthy, and that he may even be ready to play the season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jonathan Vilma will make the Saints' final 53-man roster according to Ramon Antonio Vargas of The Advocate.

That means he will not be cut, obviously, but he will not be placed on injured reserve either. Vargas says Vilma is getting healthy and "may or may not be back" to play in the season opener against the Atlanta Falcons on September 8th.

This news is a little vague, but welcome none the less.
