The New Orleans Saints have waived quarterback Ryan Griffin, according to Kristian Garic of WWLAM.

Bad news for Tulane fans like myself, who had hope for the rookie quarterback. But we can't be surprised by the move. Hopefully Griffin will be signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
