Saints vs Falcons at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, I can't think of a better way to start the NFL season. Biases aside, Saints/Falcons is the marquee matchup of the opening week which also features Ravens/Broncos and Packers/Niners.
All season and postseason, Wallace Delery of Canal Street Chronicles, will be presenting you with every game on the NFL schedule along with my pick for each game. We've all waited a very long time for this season to begin, so here we go.
Thursday, September 5th - NFL Kickoff 2013
Ravens at Broncos
Thanks to MLB, the Broncos get to host the Super Bowl Champion Ravens and they look to finish what they couldn't in last year's AFC Divisional Playoff.
Sunday, September 8th - Early Games
New England will see struggles this season, but not against a rookie in his first start.
Who Dat Nation will be keeping a close eye on Jarvis Jones this season.
Andy Reid and Alex Smith begin a new era for Kansas City, in River City.
Expect the underrated Bengals defense to put pressure on Jermon Bushrod and the Bears.
Here's the Week 1 edition of the "Johnny Footbowl".
Colts look to continue their 2012 success against the continually rebuilding Raiders.
Adrian Peterson looks to continue his 2012 success against a Lions team looking to rebound from last season.
Jets passing attack reunites with Darrelle Revis.
Russell Wilson looks to avoid the sophomore slump that affected Cam Newton a season ago.
Falcons at Saints - Game of the Week
Expect an electric Superdome and a sharp offensive performance from the Saints. The defense that weathers the storm best will win the game.
Pick: Saints (WHO DAT!)
Sunday, September 8th - Late Games
Packers at 49ers
San Francisco is built to beat teams like Green Bay, and they will again here.
Arizona will be improved this season, but it will take a little while. Tavon Austin vs Tyrann Mathieu should be fun to watch.
Sunday Night Football
The Giants are undefeated at JerryWorld, expect the streak to continue.
Monday, September 9th - Monday Night Football
I think the Eagles will struggle this season, but they will catch a possibly tentative RGIII in the opener.
Houston will overpower San Diego on both sides of the ball in the Week 1 finale.
That's how I see it, tell us how you see Week 1 of the NFL Season. Leave your comments and insight below. Finally, we're back to football! WHO DAT!!!
