The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons have not disappointed in providing fans with an exciting, hard-fought, spirited contest that sees the Saints ahead 13-10, and excited to start the second half with the ball.

The defense, although losing three players to injury so far (DT Brodrick Bunkley, CB Keenan Lewis, and DL Tyrunn Walker) has tightened up after allowing yards and points to the Falcons early, coming up with a Roman Harper recovery/return of a Julio Jones fumble that led to a TD, and some crucial third down stops late.

The Saints scored their first touchdown of the season on a great diving, 25-yard pass from Drew Brees to Marques Colston, who set a career team receptions record with 533 on that play, passing Eric Martin.

Kenny Stills has impressed with a long catch and run, but then Jahri Evans held on consecutive plays to ruin that big gain before they settled for Garrett Hartley's second FG of the game.

Overall the offense has yet to click with tempo and rhythm, but they've got the lead and get the ball first in the third quarter, so BOOM!

Check the stats below and get it going for the second half surge!!
