Saints vs. Vikings 2010 NFC Championship Game Still Most Watched in 21st Century

Even with record-breaking television ratings every year, the Saints vs. Vikings NFC Championship Game in 2010 is still the most watched championship game in modern NFL history.

Television ratings for the AFC and NFC Championship games this weekend are in and of course they're huge. So much so that it's tied with 2011 as the most-watched conference championship Sunday in more than 30 years with an average of 53.7 million viewers.

But guess what little nugget I discovered! The Saints vs. Vikings NFC Championship game in 2010 is still the most-watched NFL Conference Championship game in more than a quarter-century and the second-most watched in NFL history. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
