Saints News, 10/14/14: NFC South Goes 0-2-1 During Saints' Bye Week

New, comments

The Saints keep giving the Panthers and Falcons opportunities to run away with the division, but neither has been able to do so as both the Falcons and Bucs lost again Sunday while the Panthers were lucky to get a tie rather than another loss. No wins for the NFC South in week 6 means the Saints are still very much in a position to win the division if they can find cures for what ails them and win games. Their first challenge in Detroit will be extremely tough.

Reggie Bush to return for reunion with Saints | ProFootballTalk
A member of the Super Bowl XLIV championship team, Bush never became the guy that his draft status would have suggested, in large part because the Saints opted for a platoon at tailback.  Bush has shown both in Miami and Detroit that he can carry the load, when called upon to do so.

But just because the reviews were harsh doesn’t mean they were wrong. Goldberg would be wise to spend less time sparring with fans on Twitter, and more time preparing for his next game.
