Bye Week Adjustments: What Have YOU Done to Turn The Saints 2014 Season Around?

Bye week's over, bitches. Time to put your money where your mouth is and share exactly what the hell kind of work that you've put in during the off week to get the Saints better for the rest of the 2014 season.

I pray to J1000 that these guys did what they had to do during the bye to get this team back on track.

Gol-dang!! it feels like about six weeks have passed since the New Orleans Saints have played a freaking game. I am going out of my mind with ridiculous anticipation for tomorrow's game against the Detroit Lions. FINALLY! Real Saints football again.

I have had just about enough of this speculative speculation and nonsensical spouting off about what the Saints players and coaches should have done or need to have already been doing during this bye week to turn things around and get the REAL SAINTS on the field to kick the ever-loving crap out of the rest of the league.

But all that's really only one small part of the equation. The other, more significant part of this whole situation is the question of what we the fans, the devoted and emotional and powerful CSC members, have done with our time off to get things back on track.

While the Saints personnel have supposedly been resting up, self-scouting, spending extra time in the film room (trying to find/see SOMETHING, ANYTHING, other than a tight end around on 4th down), playing with new toys in the weight room...

...HansDat has been putting in his own work to TCOB (that's take care of business, johnnymc) so that this 2014 season becomes unforgettable for different reasons than it has been unforgettable thus far. After much thought and serious consideration and data analysis that has nothing to do with pants (mine or the ones chosen by the Saints to wear in their games), I've discovered what the P-Roblem was/is.

I've been drinking the WRONG BEER during the games this year, and even worse, I didn't drink any beer at all during the Debacle in Dallas (sorry, folks). To remedy this, I have now selected my new beer for the next few weeks to send the Saints soaring back into the stratosphere of the NFL's power rankings as they DOME-inate the league once again.

Just what is this season-changing beer, you ask? Well, let me tell you, but not quite yet. It's a seasonal brew, and those of you familiar with my beer tastes from previous comments (I'm a sucker for sweet, seasonal-themed, and cool-labelled beer) may already be able to guess what flavor it is.

The beer that will change the fortunes of this 2014 Saints season is none other than the Blue Moon Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale. Happy Halloween and get ready for PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!!!

Now that you've seen MY selfless effort and willingness to change to help the team, you need to share yours in the comment section. Also, if you follow Saints players on Twitter and can embed some tweets that show what they were really up to, drop those in there, too.

And just remember that by this time tomorrow, we'll be sweating out the second half of an exciting Saints win (at least according to my predictions).

Welcome back to the 2014 season, people. LET'S DO THIS!!!

And don't forget to check out what's going on in the Loins'es's Den...but play nice, ok?
