Today:
New Orleans Saints (2-3) @
Detroit Lions (4-2)
Coming off of their early bye week, after a disappointing start to the 2014 season, the Saints have a chance to overtake their losing record with their third win of the season. With Megatron out of the game for Detroit, the Saints defense may have a chance to buckle down and start making plays. On the other side of the ball Drew Brees and the offense need to find the spark that can make this team truly great, as they face the top defense in the league this afternoon. This is the first game of the season where the Saints are not favored to win. Will the team rise to the challenge?
With the Panthers traveling to Green Bay, and the Falcons headed to Baltimore, most of the country will be getting the NFC South this early afternoon. So if any Saints fans can't get eyes on our game, they may have a decent chance of watching a division opponent play, and updating us as they follow the Saints game in our open game threads.
