Saints vs. Panthers Thursday Night: Game Time, TV Schedule, Online Streaming, Radio, Odds and More

Continuing the trend of division games on Thursday nights, the NFL has the Saints traveling to Carolina on a short week, for the first TNF match of the season which won't be aired nationally on network television. Will New Orleans repeat Sunday night's impressive prime-time performance? Find out how to catch all of the action here!

Tonight on NFLN:
New Orleans Saints (3-4) @
Carolina Panthers (3-4-1)

For the past couple of years, the NFL has had the New Orleans Saints traveling to Atlanta on a short week after facing off against the 49ers.  Was the pattern continuing to the point that even Roger Goodell couldn't argue "coincidence" with a straight face? If so, forcing the Saints to travel to Carolina on a short week after battling through a late Sunday night game against the Packers seems little better.  But as Sean Payton said this week, nobody [who runs the NFL] wants to listen to any of that.

Coming off of a heartening win in front of a National audience late Sunday night, the Saints took Monday off, had a very light day on Tuesday, and then headed to Charlotte on Wednesday.  With the Panthers having just suffered a defeat when they hosted Seattle on Sunday afternoon, will they fight twice as hard to bounce back and win for their fans at home, especially against a strong division opponent? Will the Saints be motivated enough after Sunday night's victory to take their first road win of the season?

Whoever wins tonight's game will lead the NFC South, meager as that distinction has been so far this season.  Another win tonight could put the Saints on a solid course to at least a four-win streak, and have them looking forward from a 7-4 record with so much more promise than they seemed to have just last week.

But first, they need to win tonight's game, on the eve of Halloween.  For those fans not fortunate enough to enjoy the game in person, here is how you can catch all the action on the field:
