Saints vs. Buccaneers 3rd Quarter Score Recap: Tampa Bay Leads 24-20

One more quarter of action remains between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 5 contest.

Ugh! Not sure what's happened to this Saints team, but they looked incredibly dysfunctional to start the second half. The defense allowed the Bucs to march right down the field and easily score on the opening drive. This was followed by the ugliest Drew Brees interception and pick-6 I can remember. Is Drew going blind? That was probably the easiest INT and score this Bucs defense has ever had!

The Saints offense finally scored on a Travaris Cadet TD reception to bring the score to 24-20 in favor of the Bucs. Then, on the ensuing Bucs drive, LB Junior Galette dropped what looked like a sure interception and possibly a pick-6!

This is more than just bad luck, folks. This Saints team is a mess right now and I have little hope that they'll clean it up during the bye week.

Speaking of bye weeks, it looks like the Saints will limp into it as a team because the list of players injured in this game just keeps growing. Keenan Lewis suffered an injury and Jimmy Graham has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
