The Saints have reportedly brought former kicker Garrett Hartley to town for a work out, according to a league source.

The Advocate has a source saying the Saints are again looking at their long-time former kicker Garrett Hartley.

This news comes after current kicker Shayne Graham missed a field goal during Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Hartley played for the Saints from 2008-2013 and made 82-of-101 attempts (81.2) during his tenure. He was released by New Orleans last December after missing two field goals in a 27-16 loss to the St. Louis Rams and replaced by Graham.

Graham entered camp in a battle for the job with Derek Dimke, but ultimately won out. He missed last week against Carolina from 42 yards and is now 18-of-20 this season.

Hartley tweeted last night that he was arriving back in New Orleans, but then later tweeted that Saints fans shouldn't read too much into it.
