Saints Wednesday Injury Report: Jamarca Sanford Has a Hammy

New, comments

As the Saints did not actually practice today the injury report reflects who would have been on it had they. Of particular interest is the report of Jamarca Sanford's Hamstring injury. Sanford left the game briefly on Monday Night and then returned, so perhaps the injury is not too severe.

First a few roster moves. Already announced were the cuts of OT DeMarcus Love and DT Garrison Smith along with the signing of G Andrew Miller to the practice squad. Rounding out the PS to ten players was the signing of kicker Dustin Hopkins who they worked out last week. Sean said they really liked what they saw from him during the kicking tryouts.

Sean also said during his interview that they approach practice for this game as though Julio Jones and Roddy White will be playing. Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith had already said today that Julio would probably be a game day decision, and he wasn't going to play the Julio Jones watch game with reporters this week.

On another ESPN moment Sean expressed surprised that his play sheet was shown during the Monday Broadcast. Downplayed it by saying he doubted an opponent could learn much from it, but that it shouldn't have been shown.

Sean's Livestream interview didn't embed but you can listen to Drew Brees
