This is what we've all been waiting for: a de facto NFC South Championship between the 6-8 New Orleans Saints and the 5-9 Atlanta Falcons. These two teams' path to the playoffs is simple: win out and you're in. The hostilities start Sunday at high noon (CT) in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
But we don't need to wait until Sunday afternoon to start chatting about how both the Saints and the Falcons got to this point and what it's going to take for each team to win the game on Sunday.
To talk about the best "under .500" rivalry in the National Football League, we have Jeanna Thomas of The Falcoholic. As the Falcons prepare to face a Saints team looking for revenge from a week one loss in the Georgia Dome, there's no one better than Jeanna to help us better understand the state of the Dirty Birds.
You can follow our ongoing conversation below, ask some questions in the comments section if you have any, and share your opinion on the game.
