Saints vs. Falcons: The View from Section 140

A full gallery of personal pictures from my experience at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Sunday when the Saints playoff hopes were dashed by the Atlanta Falcons 30-14.

The New Orleans Saints season was effectively ended Sunday afternoon in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome when the Atlanta Falcons beat the Saints 30-14 for the season series sweep.

After taking a 7-0 lead in lightning quick fashion thanks to a 99-yard opening kickoff return by Jalen Saunders and touchdown run by Mark Ingram, the Saints would completely collapse and never recover. The defense didn't play as poorly as expected but the offense was abysmally stagnant.

That's now the fifth loss in a row at home for the Saints, who have completely lost the dominating home-field advantage they once held for so long.

Here are all the photos I took during yet another depressing and disappointing afternoon in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
