Saints News, 12/5/14: Patrick Robinson's Resurgence Signals Hope for Secondary

New, comments

From Mike Triplett: The New Orleans Saints' No. 2 cornerback spot has been arguably the team's biggest weakness all season. But if Robinson continues to play anywhere near as well as he did this past Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he might actually turn that spot into an asset. Robinson was outstanding while spending most of the day matched up against one of the NFL's top receivers, Antonio Brown, in New Orleans' 35-32 victory.

Major colleges should be targeting New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton | New Orleans Saints
Things might be winding down in New Orleans for Payton. Drew Brees is starting to show his age. The defensive coordinator job has turned into a revolving door. It’s just not the same vibe in the Big Easy. So now would be a good time for the ultra-intelligent, ultra-driven head coach to try something new. And given his age, plus a résumé that includes a Super Bowl victory, Payton would flourish in both the recruiting and booster-relations games.
