Well, the Saints managed to get on the board finally, but not much else. The defense has made a few 3rd down stops now, but the offense has failed to close drives with TDs, including one missed FG, and the Saints find themselves in a 24-3 hole.
The high point for the Saints has been two 30+ yard punt returns for the Saints by Jalen Saunders, but they have only resulted in three points total.
Junior Galette, Terron Armstead, and now Keenan Lewis seem to be hurt/injured, so it may be case of NEXTMANUP when we start looking for heroes to shine.
The Panthers have lost a backup TE to ejection during a scrum in the end zone after a Cam Newton TD dive, and that "wake up fight" has not really woken anyone up. GUH.
The Saints desperately need a touchdown drive to start the second half. Make it so, No. 9!!
