Seattle Seahawks Win Super Bowl 2014: Does That Change Your Perspective of 2013 Saints?

Watching the Seahawks dominate the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII might actually make you feel a little bit better about losing twice in Seattle. Maybe.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks completely embarrassed the Denver Broncos Sunday night in Super Bowl XLVIII by the lopsided score of 43-8.

And you're lying to yourself if the big game didn't cause flashbacks of the Saints' 34-7 loss to the Seahawks on Monday Night Football earlier this season, or bring back recent memories of their 23-15 loss to them again in the Divisional playoffs.

Seattle's defense totaled two interceptions, recovered two fumbles and scored 9 points, more than the Broncos' total for the game. They went into full shutdown mode, forcing mistakes and making an great offense look hapless. Stop me if you've heard this before.

So now that we know the Seahawks were the best team in 2013 and had what it takes to win on the NFL's biggest stage, does that make you feel better about those two Saints losses in Seattle and maybe the 2013 Saints season in general?
