NFL Free Agency 2014: Saints Interested in Brandon Browner

The former Seahawks cornerback has not reached a deal with the Patriots and should be in New Orleans Friday.

The New Orleans Saints have another free agent visit schedule with former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner tomorrow, according to multiple sources on Twitter.

Reports earlier tonight said the Patriots were close to a deal, some even reported a two-year deal was already signed.

Those reports, however, have turned out to be false. The Saints are still one of four teams negotiating with Browner.

Now we're talking! Cornerback is a major need that the Saints need to address and free agency is probably the best way to do it.

Browner is Rotoworld's No. 20 ranked cornerback free agent in 2014. He will need to serve a four game suspension to start the 2014 season for breaking the NFL's substance abuse policy for marijuana use.

The Seahawks cornerback only played in 8 games last season because of his suspension and a nagging groin injury.
