The New Orleans Saints have signed free agent safety Marcus Ball to a 3-year deal, according to the team's Twitter account.

Damn, Rob Ryan loves him some safeties!
Here's a little more about the relatively unknown new Saints player:
Ball, 6-1, 209, played two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League after finishing his college career at the University of Memphis. In two seasons with Toronto, he recorded 142 tackles, seven sacks, four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns and three fumble recoveries. In 2013, Ball posted 69 stops, four sacks and three interceptions for the Argonauts.
I'm sure this move didn't break the bank.
The bad news? He's from Atlanta.
