Saints Roster Cuts: Saints Cut Champ Bailey and Robert Meachem

Veteran cornerback Champ Bailey is one of the Saints' final roster cuts and probably the most surprising. Follow along with all of the Saints roster cuts with our Roster Cuts Tracker.

There haven't really been any surprises so far when it comes to the Saints final roster cuts.

Until now.

The New Orleans Saints have decided to part ways with cornerback Champ Bailey.

The veteran cornerback was signed by the Saints this off-season. Because of age and lingering health issues, it was a gamble. Looks like it didn't pay off.

That means Patrick Robinson is most likely your starting cornerback alongside Keenan Lewis. Hope your comfortable with that, Saints fans.

The Saints have also apparently decided to part ways with wide receiver Robert Meachem, despite a report by Kristian Garic not long ago that Meachem had made the final 53-man roster. Quality reporting there. So that's certainly a surprise.
