Saints News, 8/6/14: Brees Seen Throwing For First Time Since Injury

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was seen throwing Tuesday during the team's afternoon walkthrough for the first time since injuring his oblique on Friday. Sean Payton considers Brees’ injury, which kept Brees out of Saturday's Black and Gold Scrimmage, minor and says he’s taking it "day-to-day." Payton wasn't ready to rule Brees out of Friday's preseason opener against the Rams in St. Louis, though.
