Saints Sign Linebacker Todd Davis to Practice Squad Cut Safety Pierre Warren

The Saints have signed Todd Davis, releasing safety Pierre Warren because David Hawthorne is out. Is the injury to Hawthorne a serious concern, or is the team just being proactive in case David misses an excessive amount of time, and someone else goes down. Bear in mind, that Curtis Lofton has had injury concerns as well. The release of Pierre Warren makes sense, because we are currently stacked at the safety position.

If only we had this luxury at the cornerback position as well.
