Saints vs. Vikings Recap: Saints Get First Win Of Season in 20-9 Victory Over Vikings

New, comments

It wasn't always pretty. In fact, the Saints still looked sloppy at times. But, their defense deserves props for keeping the Vikings out of the endzone. The offense was a little concerning at times as several drives stalled, but they scored plenty enough points to get the win. It's great to get the win, but there's definitely room for improvement if the Saints hope to compete for a playoff spot.

Sure, you have to score touchdowns to win games, and the Vikings only scored on three field goals in Sunday’s 20-9 loss at New Orleans, but they might have had a good opportunity for a touchdown drive that would have put them ahead had it not been for a critical 15-yard penalty on cornerback Captain Munnerlyn
