Poached: Jaguars Sign TE Nic Jacobs From Saints Practice Squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars made several moves today including signing Nic Jacobs from the Saints practice squad.

Nic Jacobs, the former McNeese State Cowboy and LSU Tiger, was signed from the Saints practice squad. One of several moves by the Jacksonville Jaguars today. They placed safety Chris Prosinski on IR. Signed TE Nic Jacobs, LB Jeremiah George, and S Sherrod Martin. Didn't they get the memo that Pierre Warren had been released?

They cut TE Marcel Jensen and WR Kerry Taylor.

Nic Jacobs played 3 years for LSU and his senior year at McNeese State. At the Cowboys Nic recorded 32 receptions for 453 yards (14.2 avg.) and 13 TDs. As a LSU Tiger he had five receptions for 58 yards in 19 games.
