Saints News, 9/4/14: Saints Fill Junior Galette's Locker With Basketballs to Celebrate His Extension

On Wednesday, the Saints gave outside linebacker Junior Galette a four-year extension worth $41.5 million. To celebrate, his teammates filled his locker with basketballs because he had said as a kid he couldn't afford a new one. In other news, Payton says RB Travaris Cadet is the team's new emergency QB.

New Orleans Saints issue second injury report of Falcons week
Wide receiver Kenny Stills (quad) did not participate in Thursday's practice after being limited Wednesday. Safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and fullback Erik Lori (ankle) also did not participate. The Falcons also issued their injury report Thursday.
