NFL Picks Week 11: Crisis Time

The Saints and Who Dat Nation had to suffer though the worst loss of the season in Week 10. Now with the bye week upon us, there is still plenty to keep an eye on throughout the rest of the league in Week 11.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Saints go into the bye week with a 4-6 record. Fresh off of being obliterated by Washington in Week 10, the Saints will gladly take a week to rest their injured and try to pull themselves together.  With the Saints off the schedule this week, we will focus on the the rest of the Week 11 action, and see if it has the potential to be as unpredictable as last week.

Last week I went 5-9 (ugh.)

I told you so: Cardinals over Seahawks!

What do I know: Browns over Steelers?

WEEK 11

Thursday, November 19th - Thursday Night Football

Titans(2-7) at Jaguars(3-6)

Tennessee is atrocious, Jacksonville is slightly less so.  Jacksonville wins 17-14.

Pick: Jaguars

***

Sunday, November 22nd - Early Games

Raiders(4-5) at Lions(2-7)

This has the potential to be a very high-scoring game.  Detroit's inability to run the ball will be their downfall.  Oakland wins 31-28.

Pick: Raiders

***

Colts(4-5) at Falcons(6-3)

Atlanta pulls themselves together coming out of their bye to pick up a home win over Indy.  Atlanta wins 17-13.

Pick: Falcons

***

Rams(4-5) at Ravens(2-7)

St. Louis is thoroughly incapable of passing the football, thankfully for them, they face one of the few teams even more disappointing that the Saints this year.  St. Louis wins 23-13.

Pick: Rams

***

Buccaneers(4-5) at Eagles(4-5)

Philadelphia bounces back from a disappointing home loss last week with a home win over Tampa.  Philly wins 27-19.

Pick: Eagles

***

Broncos(7-2) at Bears(4-5)

John Fox will have his revenge on the team that dumped him in the offseason.  Denver's offense had been taking a nosedive as it was with Peyton Manning, now without him they'll struggle even more. Chicago wins 13-10.

Pick: Bears

***

Jets(5-4) at Texans(4-5)

This is a matchup of two teams trending in opposite directions.  The Jets have been struggling over the past month, while the Texans continue to hold a tenuous lead in the atrocious AFC South.  Houston wins 23-19.

Pick: Texans

***

Redskins(4-5) at Panthers(9-0)

Kirk Cousins will be lucky to still be in this game at halftime.  Carolina will steamroll this mediocre Washington squad.  Carolina wins a laugher, 35-7.

Pick: Panthers

***

Cowboys(2-7) at Dolphins(4-5)

The lightning and thunder in Miami will continue to rain down on Dallas' abomination of a season.  Even the return of Tony Romo won't be enough to turn things around right away.  Miami wins 20-14.

Pick: Dolphins

***

Sunday, November 22nd - Late Games

Chiefs(4-5) at Chargers(2-7)

Kansas City takes the momentum from their big win last week into San Diego, where the Chargers can't get anything right.  Kansas City wins 21-13.

Pick: Chiefs

***

Packers(6-3) at Vikings(7-2)

With Green Bay on the ropes due to a three-game losing streak, they'll come out swinging against the first place Vikings in Minnesota.  Green Bay wins a huge game in a huge spot, 27-14.

Pick: Packers

***

49ers(3-6) at Seahawks(4-5)

Even moving on from Colin Kaepernick at quarterback won't be enough of a change to beat the desperate Seahawks in Seattle.  Seattle wins 19-7.

Pick: Seahawks

***

Sunday Night Football

Bengals(8-1) at Cardinals(7-2) - Game of the Week

Cincinnati moves on from a surprising home loss against Houston directly into a marquee road game against the most complete team in the NFL.  Tough break.  Arizona wins 24-21.

Pick: Cardinals

***

Monday, November 23rd - Monday Night Football

Bills(5-4) at Patriots(9-0)

Without Julian Edelman, the Pats may struggle to find their footing on offense, but they'll win a close game against Buffalo in Foxboro.  New England wins 23-20.

Pick: Patriots
