Saints News, 11/3/15: Stat Correction Takes Small Bite out of Drew Brees' Big Day

New, comments

From Mike Triplett at ESPN.com: Turns out, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees didn’t make quite as much history on Sunday as originally thought. The Elias Sports Bureau changed a fourth-quarter fumble by receiver Willie Snead into an interception, since Snead never really had control of the ball. And in the process, Brees lost a 6-yard completion. The Saints were in the process of an appeal as of Monday night. That means Brees only completed 39 passes for 505 yards instead of 40 for 511. So he no longer set new career highs in those two categories.
