Today:

New Orleans Saints (4-8) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6)

The Saints take the field today against the Buccaneers in Tampa, with little more than pride on the line.  A hilariously miraculous course of events would have to take place in order for the Saints to qualify for the playoffs this season, but this game is against a division rival that had been the perennial cellar-dwellers before this season.  Now the Saints have taken that place in the NFC South basement, and they need to show some life today, before the mindset of staying down there takes hold into next season.

Tampa has been much improved thanks to better quarterback play with Jameis Winston, a return to form in their running game, and marked improvements on defense.  The Saints will have to play at their best, even with their depleted lineup, to find their way to a victory today.  They are certainly not the favorites today, but the Saints and Drew Brees always have a chance.  Hopefully they can put it together here.  Who Dat!
