Saints News, 12/21/15: Saints Officially Eliminated from 2015 Playoffs

From Katherine Terrell at NOLA.com: The Saints had a very slim chance of making the playoffs if they won out and had a series of events fall into their favor during the next few weeks. To even stay in the hunt, they needed either the Vikings or Seahawks to lose on Sunday. However, the Vikings hurt that hope early on by easily defeating the Bears, 38-17. The Seahawks, playing the late game, sealed the deal with an 30-13 win against the Browns.
