Luke McCown is the first free agent to resign with the Saints this offseason. This will be the third year for the backup QB with the New Orleans Saints.
Reported contract details include, a$970,000 base salary, a $80,000 signing bonus with $350,000 guaranteed. It appears Ryan Griffin will once again be in a battle for the backup QB position. Luke's primary duties the past two seasons has been holder for field goals. Other than in preseason games, McCown has not been called on for QB duty.
